89 Supra

I am wondering where I can find the air temperature sensor, turbo pressure sensor and the oil pressure sensor on my '89 Supra. I need to check and possible replace these but I am having difficulty locating them. Thanks.

turbo pressure sensor is near the firewall on the drivers side. it is marked as such, and is a squarish black box with vacuum line(s) plumbed into it.

the oil sending unit is below the turbo on the passenger side from what i remember.

air temperature? do you mean what measures the tempoerature inside the car? it is located on the passenger side of the dash above the glovebox. there is a tiny slot with fins you can see easily from the passenger seat.

i don't know of a sensor that measures the air temp going into the engine. the idle is controlled by a water temp sensor. it is located on the turbo side of the engine behind the water pump, but in front of the power steering reservior.

hope that helps.

air temp is integrated into the AFM, and is not servicable without replacing the entire afm electronics box...kinda pricey, so check the connections first!
