what intercooler is this?

whats up supra guys i have a 240sx with an sr20 in it.....i almost bought a 7m b4 this car. But my question is....i got an intercooler from a guy that said it was off of a twin turbo supra. So i was satisfied with it, but after i bought it i realized it didnt have 2 turbo inlets on it ( not sure if its supposed to or not). So now im thinking that its from a 7m. its been a while since i looked at it but as i can remember it was definatly black- about maybe 2 1/2 inches thick- and maybe like 12" x 22" - really have no idea.

Does anyone know what intercooler this is and how much boost it will handle (or hp it will handle) thanks for any help

2J doesnt have 2 either...they Y pipe before it. MK IV has plastic end tanks, 7M is all aluminum. The plastic tanks are the give away.

Both are considered upgrades for smaller turbo cars, and we commonly run em to ~350 for the 7M, and 400 for the 2J

The pipe angles changed in 89, and the bracket is removable. Otherwise identical. This is the MK III single turbo unit, not the MK IV twin.

i'll take a pic of the intercooler that i have in my car....and it's probably the one that you're talking about...the end tanks are on each side....i believe that it's from an sc300....just a bit smaller than the supra...

Here's an idea...instead of all of us guessing until next week, post a pic and we can tell you right off what you have.
