headlighths wont turn off after gte swap

Well I have an 1989 supra that was na auto, but I recently swapped it to 5 speed turbo. The headlights will go up and down. But the headlights just stay on. Untill I go pop the hood and pull the relay out, then they turn off. I am just getting sick of opening the hood and pulling the relay out to turn off the lights. Anyone ever had the problem or have any idea.

I swear there was a post on TN about this.
Can't help ya though, I haven't had the issue. Might try searching the various forums.

Sounds like a cross wiring somewhere to me. Go back and check your connections from wiring in the gte harness. Theres a line in there somewhere that dictates the on and off somewhere.
