i need help

I have a 1988 Supra (not Turbo). Because of her age, I am having difficulties tracking down replacement parts. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? The parts and original manufacturer numbers are as follows (replacement parts can be after market): diffuser #1787542020 and exhaust maniforld heat shield #1716743011. Thank you.

That "Diffuser" or resonance chamber is often discarded and a pipe gets put in place. If your Toyota dealer can't get it any longer, you may need to search used parts on Supramania (as they are rare here) or ebay. That said, most people throw it out and replace it with a section of pipe. The heat shield is likely also a used is best option if you don't want to pay for, or can't find a new one. At least you know they'll be fairly cheap as most just junk them!

just found out these parts are not available so am taking your suggestions to a fabricator and hopefully he'll be able to make something happen. Thanks again.
