Unfortunately when they donate to schools, you can't take/keep the engines much less the vehicles. I had the same problem at both my comm. college and 4 yr school. several things would have fit my vehicles nicely BUT if the manufacturer ever finds out, the school can kiss ANY donations goodbye in the future as well as maybe have the past stuff taken back. Depending on the mfr, when the cars are taken out of service, the school has to send pics of the vin plate in the car, smashed, all windows broken, everything unusable, etc.

yeah i know. i go to JJC and they had a 87 7M-GTE in there shop donated from toyota and they turned around and sent it off to a junk yard last jan..... i found it and theres almost nothing left of it and its sad to see... but at least im snagging the rest as best i can since it has a salvage title now...
