The range is pretty large. Some see them as an old car and not worth much, some as a collectors piece worth a fortune. You will find prices vary from under 2k for a clean car up to 6-7k asking for very good condition or modified ones.

purchase as my 83 with 385,000 miles blew head gasket and car is kinda ratty anyway as I owned since 84.

look on celicasupra forums, there's quite a few for sale on there.

I say over 2k for one that doesn't need immediate attention. (No rust HOLES, go a few thousand miles without drivetrain issues). Any less usually requires work/$$ before you drive it.
