how much boost?

how much boost should my supra have. i have a 94 twin turbo with air intake down pipe and full exhaust all 3 inche with and bigger blow off valve. and on my boost gauge it says i only hit 12 lbs my friend has a 95 eagle talon and he is also getting 12 lbs and he doesnt have any thing done to his beside cat back exhaust. if they both put out the same amount of boost why put two turbos in?

without a boost controller it's hard to say, my car with the FMIC hits 18 to 19 pounds with the controller off so I would say 14 to 15 pounds would be about right, you will also need a boost cut controller. If it feels like it wants to go faster but it keeps popping and not building anymore boost, that would most likely be your problem. Greddy makes a great BCC that will eliminate that problem for about 70 to 80 bucks, it's a must buy for the normal street driving.
