#1 CT-26 Turbo question...

I am in the process of freshening up my supra 1987 MarK III turbo. I just had the automatic transmission rebuilt and have the engine on the stand doing exhaust gasket replacement and replacement of hoses and the timing belt and idler. What aftermarket belt and tensioner is best?
There was a small amount of oil in the inter-cooler pipe and intake hoses.
I just want to know if this is of major concern. The car does not seem to be using any excessive oil.
Also, there is a very small amount of side play in the tip of the turbo wheel. How much is OK. I do not want to have the turbo rebuilt if possible.
Also, can anyone tell me what the torque spec is on the exhaust manifold nuts. I have installed new studs and nuts. Also what is the tightening sequence?

Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks
Prof.

Just use the Toyota ones. 60k miles reliable! There are no "upgrades" to these parts.

Oil in the intercooler is normal. Your PCV system over time releases air with some oil smoke and vapour in it, and that condenses in the intercooler and pipes. As long as you don't have a lot it should be fine.

In and out is bad, side to side a tiny amount is normal.

Tighten nuts starting from the centre and alternate back and forth until you get to the ends. The torque is 29ft/lbs on the nuts.
