Question 7M-GTE intake like 2jz intake?

I have seen some 7m-GTE motors with intakes that are custom, modified, or ???? http://www.7mpower.com/ and other locations.

Where the throttle body is on the front end of the intake manifold. Not in the center side as stock 7M-GTEs are.

Now here is the question?

1. Where can I get one, purchase?
2. Are these custom by different people?
3. How does the throttle linkage work with it?

The reasoning behind this is I would like to get rid of the stock IC, and shorten IC piping by using this type intake.

But can't seem to find one. Maybe only made by the people with them now or discontinued. Either way I would like to know and if possible get one or plan to modify one to this configuration.

Thanks all in advance for any help.

Looking for 7M-GTE intake for my car.

Sorry, I don't have any 7m-GTE's but the one in my car.

I have spent about $5000 usd rebuilding it from the ground up after it blew a head gasket.

I'm looking for a intake system that is unlike the stock setup. One that has the throttle body mounted to the front on the intake just behind the battery and not on the side as they all are from the factory.

Any one know where to find one?

Oh. 87NASUPRA Check ebay. they always have a 7M motor or two for sale.

You'll find one at your local fabricator. All custom and one off constructions. The cheapest use the 2J upper tank welded to the lower 7m runners, the most expensive are wholly custom.

Any way you cut it, count on a couple grand, and have fun with the throttle body...

that's kind of what I thought.

Thanks for the info.

If I'm going to have to spend a couple grand then I would rather just put a few more (2-4k) with it and get a 2JZ-GTE motor and tranny. For a swap out.

Thanks guys.
