Halloh!
I am new member and not an expert on the computer or a site like this matter of fact this the first time I have ever done this ,so I'm an old rookie!Have owned a 1985 Supra since new.The last 10 years or so it's been sitting in my gararage.no rust on the body and it still runs great. It has about 260,000 k>I am a bodyman by trade so I do a lot of the work myself.I am having some trouble with bleeding the clutch.Have installed a new clutch master cylinder and clutch bastard, for some reason i just can't get the clutch to become hard,it won't bleed. Can somebody help me.
That would be great.

Hello, and welcome to Toyota Nation! I'll move your thread over to the Supra forum so the other members there can lend you a hand. You might also use the Supra forum's search tool to see if there's been any past threads that have dealt with you clutch issue. Good luck!

Welcome!

You mentioned you changed the master and the slave and can't seem to get pressure. Usually, this is just a large bubble in the system. If you have access to a suction bleeder, you can usually pull fluid through until the air passes, but you might try getting a fluid bottle with a narrow neck. Use a lot of rags as removing it can be messy when you're done.

Tip the bottle completely upside down in the reservoir's neck and leave it stuck in there. It will only chug out until the fluid in the reservoir reaches the bottle and will not overflow. This gives you a lot more fluid and little chance that it will run dry. Now open the drain and give a few pumps. Gravity will now do the work for a while and the bubble should clear up soon enough. Just don't let the bottle run dry.

Finish it up by bleeding it the old fashioned way for a couple of pumps and you should be good to go. As I remember the MKII supra clutch is a little light too, so it may just feel off. You can watch someone work it through the access panels on the bell housing too so you can ensure it's working right.

Hope that helps!

Bob
