Who has done the 1JZGTE swap

Can anyone give me some advice and problems you might have ran into doing the 1JZGTE swap into anything. I doing one myself.

The pain's in the wiring, I guess. A few guys have done it in the Cressida, mostly in Australia though, where it's easier (Right-Hand Drive donor car + RHD recipient = easier swap).

There are some sites online I believe its suprastore.com that have the wiring harnesses for ya so you don't have to go through the pain of rewiring or whatnot.

hey man dont do the swap if it's a street car cuz in cali it will never pass smog i checked.

^ Smog is always only a couple hundred $ away. Don't be afraid of your registration... be afraid of the smog ref

i know ref's r evil mean vindictive people. that and they hate swaps. thats why im doing supercharger so i can take it on and off with the smog . same with headder
