turbo seize

in the 3rd Gen supra does the turbo seize easily. My friend is moving out to chicago and i live in New Jersey and i wanted to go out and visit him, but he said that my turbo would probably seize up during the ride. do you think that it would make it or not. its about a 12 hour drive

If you bother to maintain your car, and you have no underlying problems, drive it. We do it all the time (used to put 2-3 trips a year from Toronto to Englishtown, Toronto to Kentucky we still do, Ohio, Montreal etc...).

Tell your friend to put down the crack pipe.

Unless your turbo is already wrecked (shaft play blah blah blah), keep oil in your car and you're good to go.
