troubleshooting electric radiator fan motors

Again my haynes manual is no help. Does anyone have a schematic that shows these motors on my 1991 supra Turbo? Where is the temp sensor that controls them? I temporarily wired them direct just to make sure they work. I suspect I have a problem because even on a hot day and after a good drive, they never come on. After I shut it off, everything under the hood gets so hot and them fans still dont come on. I've spent a small fortune on hard brittle hoses on the entire intake and vacuum systems. While running, it's fine because of the main radiator clutch fan running. Please help!

I believe that the sensor for them is one of many that is plumbed into the thermostat housing. But, I could be incorrect.
