Hey, i'm looking at 12" subs and i cant figure out a good one for under $120. I was looking at sony xplode and it looks nice, but i've heard there not that good in quality. Any sugestions? and while i'm at it how bout 4" speakers?

I hope you don't plan to run 12s in a Supra. The bass wave is entirely too long to be effective IN the car. You'll piss off the cop next to you and not feel crap... Stick with 8s or 10s for a small car of that size.

I personally dont like any of sony's car audio equipment. Your just paying for the name. You can get better quality for cheaper than sony.

And as for 4" speakers I would look at the infinity kappas. You can really crank these small speakers up. And the clarity is awesome. I have 4 in my supra.

when you get sony for car audio you pay for a name and not for quality. in a car as nice as yours i would shell out more money for better speakers. you can get a jl audio 8w7 for maybe $300 but if you want to stick to your budget you'd be better off with a rockford fosgate or something.

Both decent brand names, but as said above, I prefer:
JL Audio
Infinity

In the way of subs, I've never heard of JVC putting out anything particularly interesting.
