ok here's the deal, i have an 84 supra, and motor is no good. I am considering a 7mgte swap. The car has 200,000 miles on it, and i don't know if there are any problem with anything but the motor. What should i consider before purchasing a 7mgte? In other words, what problems are general o'n a supra this old. Would it be worth the moeny to do the swap? Please help.

I was considering the swap... but bought my MR2 instead. My Supra is too.... new I guess you would say. Anyways... make sure the body and everything are in good condition. If it has a salvage title... or if the frame is bent.. anything like that... I wouldn't put that kind of power to it.

Have you looked into a 6mge swap?
