RC 550 Question

Is it an absolute neccessity to replace the fuel pump with a Denso or Walbro when I replace the 440's with the 550's?

Also, can I get away without installing a fuel management unit, 'cause all of this is gonna get pretty damn expensive quick.
Thanks to all in advance!

You need more fuel than the stock system can supply so yes, a walbro or similiar is required. You also must bypass or drill out the J-Tube, and you must find a method to control the fuel delivery. The VPC, SAFC(2) combo has proven to be an incredibly potent one in the past.

1) Cheap
2) Fast
3) Reliable
You may only pick two...
