tubro intake

ok so im thinkin of replacing the pipe leading into the turbo from the maf. im not wanting to remove the maf bc i kno i would need a vpu and many other things. does anyone here know anyone tht has done this.

I built mine from parts from home depot ........ a 4" shower drain worked really well for having the right size to bolt the maf too.

wish I still had pics ...... I used a 4"x7"x2" K&N cone to cover the the shower drain and I used aluminum dryer hose to get the shape I wanted, took that to an exaust shop to have the pipe built. total cost for my cold air intake when I turbo charged my explorer was about $90 not counting the cone filter.

If somebody tells me how to post it .... I can post the drawing I made in paint before I started my project. paint the shower drain black and nobody can tell
