91 supra dying during braking

Aight, I have a problem with my 91 supra turbo. For some odd reason my engine wants to die when I brake hard while driving. I asked around and some people said that need to clear the idle air control and passage motor or adjust the idle screw. Do you think this would fix the problem (if so, how would I do the above fixes), or do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for the help, b/c I pretty much have no idea of whats going on.

also, I was thinking it may have something to do with the vaccum pressure that using the brakes would maybe take away from the engine....any suggestions?

Well, the brake booster uses vacuum pressure to drive itself. I'm not sure how that'd contribute to stalling the motor however.

automatic or manual?

If automatic, check out if your torque converter is working properly... just a random idea.
