They're both right behind the gas tank. Alot of people take the tank down to replace it but it can be done with the tank in and the right tools.

The right tools can be a number of things. Mainly the right knuckle joints to get at the banjo bolt.

Krypto is again incorrect. The Fuel filter is in front of the tank. If you roll in under the car from the rear, you will pass the edge of the tank. Now, because it's not just square, there's a lip on it. Reach up, feel around the middle section of the tank, then up towards the chasis. There will be a black, 3-5" long black canister with fittings on either side. This is the fuel filter. The big thing to take note, is that you'll want to make sure you de-pressurize the fuel line before you pull it out. To do this, pull the EFI fuse in the engine bay, and crank it a good 6 times for a few secs apiece (will also want to unplug the coil pack so that it doesn't just start up).

Haha....do you get your jollies off trying to prove me wrong?!?! Krypto is once again correct! Me and interex actually wrote THE walkthrough for such repair. Mean while you're sitting there contradicting your own self. If you access the car from the REAR, which any sane person would do to access the fuel filter you WILL find the filter BEHIND the gas tank! The right tools and EXACTLY how to do it is in the link below which also has detailed real pics in it to show you how its done. Enjoy

That shows it in front (I.e. towards the front of the car) of the gas tank, not behind.

Would you kindly explain how the differential is behind the gas tank then?

I don't care what you think I am, this is a debate about the facts. The differential is forward of the gas tank. The photo, and description you linked him to prove it.

Quote:

Now while lying down with your head pointing towards the engine, look above
the differential. You should see a small black canister. This is your fuel filter.

Again, I think we get it. Semantics over substance seems to be the essence of your debates of late.
