trunk dimensions and random Q's

hey guys,

So my newly acquired 87 supra turbo is in the shop getting all fixed up and ready for some A-hole new yorker style driving, and once i get it, i'm installing my subs and head unit. I've got an alpine CDA-7894 head unit, and 2 10inch XTANTs that were put in a custom box w/ a 200 watt bridged xtant amp.

The box i had cutsom made was made for my now-wrecked GTi, which had a nice amount of hatchback space. the bos is about 28.5 inches wide. will this fit in the trunk flush with the back of the seats?

also, i'm thinking about putting some sort of limo tint int the back so that no one sees the box an steals it, however, is there some sort of shroud or cover any of you use? my GTi had a inner trunk cover lid so that you couldnt see what was in the trunk.

any input?

also, is the stock alternator going to be able to handle the head unit and 200 W amp? just checkin. thanks!

The Supras do have a built in cargo cover in the truck. I use it and it covers my sub and amp just fine. Gives you peace of mind that nobody can see it.

I've seen some on ebay for very cheap. Or try a junk yard near you. If all else fails go to the toyota dealership and expect to pay a whole lot.
