the 3mge\3mgte are known for blown head gaskets, its one of the most common problems for them. First, we need to know the engine code though and some symptoms to diagnose it

They would be about right.

With a metal head gasket, it is imperative that the head and block surfaces are lapped properly. Machine the head, and the block if possible at all.

Rule of Thumb: If you even suspect that you have a 7M blown head gasket, you probably already have it.

www.jarcoinc.com has rebuilt 7M-GTE(turbo). Also www.supraforums.com and www.supramania.com will have info on how to do the swap. Good luck.

you can swap in either a 7mgte, a 1jz-gte, or a 1g-gte

all those turbo engines were offered in your supra at some point or another, so fitment isnt an issue...

the latter are twin turbo, but JDM only, the 1st is also the USDM MA70 supra turbo engine...
