differences between the 2jz ge and 2jzgte

hey
just looking to know if anyone knows about any differences between these blocks..shortblocks
are the pistons different? would the connecting rods be different? woudl anything else internal be different?
would i be safe turbo charging this block with the turbo head?

The block castings are almost the same. The GTE has oil squirters for the pistons and the GE does not.

Crank and rods are the same, and pistons are similar, but GE pistons are higher compression.

Turbocharging the GE with a GTE headswap is possible, but you'll want to lower the compression (thicker headgasket or pistons, the latter being the preferred method).
