87 turbo taillights

Have done some personalizing to my 87 Supra targa turbo [nice wheels, lowered]. Am no longer content w/ the stock taillights. Have searched vigorously, though not exhaustively, for aftermarket replacements, but found nothing. Any leads to product or custom fabricator websites? Preciate your help.

I hope you're not talking about "euro"/"Altezza" type lights

There were some JDM made clear corners years back, and a company that did them in the US for some outrageous price. Basically took fluorescent light covers and wrapped them on for upwards of a grand...looked like shit too.

Only real option is to change to the 3 piece units from the 89+, but you also need the side moldings to make it look right.

yeah the 89+ taillights are a little more stylish (imo) than the blocky older ones.. grab the parts from a junk yard, or if you go to www.supraforums.com and go to the mkiii parts for sale, there are a lot of guys parting out supras, you could find everything you need for fairly cheap

I personally dislike the 89+ taillights.

Ditto. '86.5-'88 tails for life! I've actually rigged up an early-tail configuration on a '90ish Supra Turbo A model that I'm building
