Most people know about the "new Supra" that has been tested in Germany, covered in camoflage. But, finally I saw on the NBC's coverage of the Detroit International Auto Show. For now it's known as the Lexus LFA, YES I said Lexus. The same 500hp V10 coupe we've all seen in the magazines. But, this doesn't mean that Toyota won't come out with it's own version. I can see someone paying 100 grand for a Lexus, a Toyota maybe, it would have to be one hell of a Toyota!!

Lextech, old news. Most of the supra communities are worried it will become the new Supra, but no one has officially said that.

HAHA! but its still similar in body shape...thing is its the first car since supra toyota will have released like the supra was! IMO the supra is the pinnicle so far, NOTHING from toyota since 2000 has exceeded that car, this is personal opinion and tastes/opinions on the performance will differ but this car is a NEEDED release. In another thread I said "to follow up the success of the supra". Even if alot of its popularity lately has come from a certain movie

If it does not have an I6 engine, it will NEVER be a supra in my mind, regardless of what they call it.

well they havnt said they're going to call it a supra...but Toyota does need to put out a similar car to the supra, the performance car market is getting bigger by the year. And I dont trust any other car companies in regards to performance, Toyota has ALWAYS treated me well...

On sale 2006, est $150k. U won't find it a Toyota dealer, they're too busy selling Scions. It's more appealing as a Lexus. 500hp 2.4l V8
