1989 Supra PCV

I recently purchased a clean 1989 Toyota Supra non turbo. The engine smokes quite a bit out the tail pipe. I replaced the plugs, wires, cap & rotor. I also changed the oil & filter. This vehicle has been setting for a few months. I noticed when I removed the throttle body in order to get to the two middle spark plugs the inside of the intake was wet with what appeared to be milky water and a little bit of oil. The old plugs looked pretty good but had a terrible odor. With the engine running I removed the oil cap and I had alot of air coming out of that hole. Could this be a plugged PVC system? and if so, what would you suggest I do in order to repair this? Could this cause the engine to smoke?

Thank you

any problems with the performance of the car at all? and did you test the MAF connection with a test light? could be getting wrong air/fuel ratios... although my friend's supra started to smoke a LOT out of the tailpipe and it was the entire maf unit... then the 2nd time he started to smoke it ended up being a BHG from too much timing advance, lol

I suggest a compression test and testing out the maf unit

Thank you

I appreciate the advise. I just purchased this car and don't even have tags for it yet. I was told the timing belt was recently replaced and it sounds like it is out of time. Also I cleaned the PCV pipe (was plugged) and the air filter was beyond filthy! I will test the MAF tomorrow and will do a compression test as well. I will get back with you with the results. Again, many thanks!
