In standard ECU(Engine Control Unit), air fuel ratio is set leean to get more mileage in low speed, and it is set rich in high speed for more safety margin. Tom's on the other hand, have tuned to acquire the best output in every speed range.
Torque quality and acceleration response is largely improved in low and mid speed range. Better mileage, increased output, and enough safety margin is present in high speed range. On top of that, ignition timing is set carefully, with Tom's own dynamometer tester, searching for knocking points on every engine speed. Data logger has been used in behind-the-wheel test also, to complete the perfect setting. This is a kind of work that can not be done by tuners that do not have data logger or engine dynamo meter tester.

if you guys want to see more TOM's parts, get a TOM's catalog, 76 color pages, $25

is it the T.E.C.S? If it is, doesnt it come with the standard japanese required speed limiter to 185kph? Cause as far as I know the Tom's turbo corolla, even tho it has alot of horses, it's limited to 180kph.
