Here's a vid of AAP beating Titan in the finals:
http://home.comcast.net/~kmwilliams1...ff/TX2K5-3.MOV

As you probably know, Titan's a sponsored pro race team with several seasons under their belt. They ran that "cracked" block, reinforced with concrete (hard-blok) because they thought it would win. AAP was also running consistent low 8s that day, and imo would likely have beaten them, even if Titan's block had been perfect.

Is there an echo in here? Again, Titan had no excuse - they're a fully sponsored race team and (in hindsight) shouldn't have risked running with a cracked block. If anyone at that race could afford to replace their block, it was/is Titan. They took a gamble, and although their times were okay, they were NOT good enough to win. No excuses. "Run what ya brung."

your right they did Run what they brung Its not like this was an event where lots of money was involved so why should they use they're better newer motor. They were running Low 8's on a cracked block and your saying their times were ok
Humm This is a new one running a 8.2 on a cracked block is just an OK time -
And the only one that they lost to is AAP - yet they were kick everyone elses ass LOL
They were trying to blow up the Motor completely if you must know! This was an event for Fun not for points so quit being Douche.
