Got it, little problems

Well, I got my 87 turbo, it runs great, popped a tire already(belt broke somehow), got a used BFG for 28$, not as nice as the good-year it replaced, but works. The only wierd little thing ive noticed is that sometimes when its not warmed up, like right out of the driveway, if i push it pretty hard, through 3rd, it stalls when i let off, only in third though... any ideas? And man, this baby kicks through second.

heres a pic, better ones coming.

Needs. Mods. Stat. :-D

Nice purchase. Your stock BOV could be failing, but really in stock form you should let it warm um before you go tearing into it...

as for that bov, hows this look for a replacer?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...961604780&rd=1

or does someone have their stock bov sitting around after an upgrade they want to get rid of?

935motorsports.com sells the bosch replacement BOV for like $50 IIRC.

yup: Linkage.

I'd love to help but I don't have a stocker anymore. Had 3 fail on me and said "F' This".
IIRC to test it, you should be able to pull it off and you shouldn't be able to blow air through it. If you can, it's failing.

Easy as pie. 2 clamps, one vac hose and out it comes.

Test yours first before buying a new/another one. Try to blow through it from the 3000pipe side. It should not let anything through. If you have a vac pump, apply vac to the nipple while blowing and it should release. If it fails either test, replace. I'd personally just hit up the bosch kit though. Tried and tested (I have one on as well, and for 12 PSI it does exactly what it is supposed to), it's brand new, and Robert@935 has seen to finding all the hoses you need to make it fit like stock for $75. Not any better deal out there.
