2jz ge life?

hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows how reliable a stock 2jz ge is. their is a 5 speed sc300 @ an infinity dealer near me that i want to pick up, but the milage is pretty high. almost 150,000. i plan on taking it for a test drive to feel the clutch an suspension. but is there anything else i should look for with such high miles?

What year sc300?

Naturally loko for body rust, leaks [take it for a drive, then run it up on something (if you can) and look at the frame, see if you can see any fluids. Check clutch. Honestly, I love carfax. So, if you can run a carfax. It'll give you some good history about your car. I personally found out my car was used to run a police barricade here in town about 3 years before I bought it.

2JZ-GE's are great motors and as with most Toyota's they'll live long into their 200,000's with regular maintenance and care.

But yeah, look for the general stuff on a used car. The 2JZ-GE shouldn't bother you otherwise.
