PLease help 1987 supra

Well guys I have a 1987 TOyota Supra, which alreayd has a copper head gasket thats why I am kinda taken back at this.

I am driving down the highway racing this 350z everything was fine until I topped out 4th gear put it to 5th gear and my revs are at like 3000 doing 200 km/h. So I give it gas and the the needle just keeps going down.

So I put it back into 4th tried driving the whole way home in 4th than my car started to sputter I hit the breaks and it instantly shut off.

Well I than stop the car turn it back on it runs all gears work but whenever I touch my breaks the car stalls. Anyone has any ideas ?

1) Copper head gaskets are not a miracle that will give your engine everlasting life and 50 free horses. They are a head gasket. If you got told otherwise, that person is full of crap and deserves a punch in the nose for being a moron (can anyone tell I've quit smoking again this week...)

2) You weren't doing 200kph at 3000RPM in any gear in an 87. I'll assume this was a typo and you were doing ~100. You say a needle started going down and it sputters while driving and it dies as soon as you touch the brakes.

Ok, now that the facts are out there, check your intercooler and vac lines first to make sure all clamps are tight, all lines are intact and everything is still attached. I would then check for spark on each cylinder. Also, after the lines, check to see if the ECU threw a code. This should let you rule out the easy stuff.

No it was no typo What happened is i was doing about 190 kph in 4th gear shift into 5th gear heard a weird noise and than the rpm gage was reading about 3000 rpm and dropping even though I was flooring it. The engine light isnt coming on should I still try and connect the t1 with t3?

3000RPM in 5th is barely 100kph. Now, it is possible that you suffered a failure in the spark such that the ecu could not read RPM properly, and this was giving false output to the gauge. You were not actually getting 3000rpm. Simply not possible. Now you're into the realm of spark. Check plugs and wires as a start, move back and test the coils, then test the ignitor, then the ECU. Only 3 things make engines run: air, spark and gas.

Weird noise really doesn't help much. Yes, check for codes anyhow. Just because it's not on doesn't mean it hasen't got one stored in there.

190kph = 119mph
200kph = 125mph

My 89 only goes 125mph because there is a speed limiter built into the ECM. More peddle doesn't do any thing. But...it does not sputter. You must have a spark breakdown.

There is not a speed limiter built into the Mk3 ECU. There is a fuel cut off (FCO) and a Rev. Limiter, no Speed limiter. I've had my 88 to past 140mph.
