Hi i have a 87 supra turbo and when i drive it sometimes when i push the clutch in at around 2000 RPMs or higher the RPMs go down and keep going until it stalls, i dunno whats wrong, i need help.
Also the back of my car in the hatch leaks really bad, and i took it to get the weather strip again but they said it was fine so they tightened the wing and the antenna and it helped a litle but still leaks a good amount, please help
i thinki have both of these problems too, to a lesser degree on the leaking, and i only stall when the engine is cold, after pushing the clutch after moderate to hard driving in 3rd gear.
hey if u plan to keep you car running correct i would hope that you let your car almost fully warm up before even leaving the driveway. This is causing you car to stall and other not as notiable damage. On the leak thing check the glass that was my problem. other things to check would be rear lights etc. (where is the lek comming from general area?
Many things cause that rear hatch leak.
Most common - Rear Hatch Seals
2nd Most Common - Seals around the rear tail-lights.
Replacing those seems to solve that. Also, it's been found that a nice bead of silicon caulk on the tail lights (allow it to dry) makes a very good seal as well.

Who came up with this 500px wide BS?
yea i have condenstation in my taillights, but i took it to a place to get it sealed and they did tests and said it wasn't the sealing so they tightened my wing and antenna and it helped a little but it still leaks a lot. the leaking comes from the part of the hatch closest to u when u open it and comes out of the plastic cover that is in the trunk
