18"s will they work?

Hey if I put some 18" x 7.5" wheels on my supra, will the tires ever rub say during a little bounce or when the wheel is cut all the way? what size tires does everybody suggest?

91 mk3 turbo auto

These ones here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7971081546

Oh! and...if anyone knows where I can get a set of 17"s or 18"s for a better deal (maybe with tires on them ) let me know I am super interested seeing as how I have been driving around on the donut for waaay too long now.

Offset is HELLA important. Besides that, I have yet to see a set of 18's that actually look good on a Mk3. 17"s are ideal.

so you dont like my rims?

I have RJR 18" chrome on mine, the offset is the same as most fords here so getting rims of high quality wasnt that hard. I could have gone as far as 20" rims with an ultra low profile tire, but 18" is as large as i wanted to get since i'll be eventually racing my mkIII.

Heres a picture of my mkIII with 18" RJR's and 40 series faulkens...mine are 9" wide

Too much chrome. Personally, you'll never find anything more hot than a Mk3 rolling Volk TE-37's.
/looks for pics..

3rd Generation

guess it comes to personal taste huh? mine are from a local racing parts maker...so not just bling, they can handle anything i throw at them and i have connections to get them at a steal price.

I do agree though that Volks (i like ALOT of the styles from them) look very good on a MkIII...i cant remember what specific model they are, but a friend and fellow mkIII owner has some second hand volks he go imported to here. They set his car off really well, too bad one of em hit a gutter
