Angry Grinding

If anyone can help me out on this one I would appreciate it a whole lot. Every once in a while when I am driving my car I feel a grinding coming from the floor board under neath the pedals and also on the side where the tranny would be. I cant figure out what this grinding could be from. Im not sure if it is my flywheel, my transmission, or my clutch not ingaging properly. Im clueless. If anyone knows what this could be or any ideas close to what it would be that would be great. Thanksss

Is this when shifting? If not, when does it occur?

no, it's just every once in a while. When pulling out like in first gear you can feel it every once in a while and then just driving you can feel it every once in a while too.
