3rd Generation headers, intake & exhaust

I'm a first time Supra owner and have some questions. Can anyone recommend a good intake system for my 1986.5 Supra? How about headers and an exhaust system. I prefer to not have a very loud exhaust. I used an APEX N1 exhaust on my 1995 Nissan 240SX SE but I found it way too loud. I'm trying to keep the mods very simple on this car. Intake & exhaust should free up some HP, but can anyone tell me how much I can expect? Can anyone recommend a good supplier for the intake, headers & exhaust system?
Thanks...

Intake: Ebay. They have N/A filter adapters and cheap filters all over the place. I'd pick up the item and get a proper K&N filter to replace it. You might also want to build an airbox to keep the hot engine bay air out. Alternatively, a K&N drop in will do pretty much the same thing.

Exhaust: Pacesetter has a header (not great quality, but not that bad either), and if you can find one, Thorley had one as well. No idea on suppliers here, perhaps 935motorsports. A free flow cat and should you be able to find one, an HKS sport exhaust would compliment it well. Looks pretty stock, is about the quietest free flow exhaust around, and that's about it. the HKS are harder to find than the header, and were unfortunately mild steel pipes, so they will rot out over time.

ya i'd go with bgreiger on tha intake...12 dollars for a maf adapter and a filter does tha job great...and then u can make a heat sheild using as my ghetto friends do...cardboard wrapped in foil ...or u can b semi decent and just by some sheetmetal. As for the exhaust, i agree with the hks, and tha hi flo cat, but with my 78 datsun, i bought a pacesetter header from pacesetter's warehouse, and it had fitment issues, all 3 that they sent me, leaked...i dont know if it was just with that model, but now i used Megan Racing...they seem 2 b on tha cheaper side and do tha job right

Actually, HKS has been proven to NOT be the best. They've got good stuff, but in the filter selection K&N beats them by far.
