Hey guys...do you know for my na MKIII if I should up size the exaust or down size...Or are the best at the stock size? Im trying to squeeze as much power out of my non turbo as possible, so which would be my best bet?
And do you if any of those mufflers you see on ebay are any good? I need all new shit, so Im wondering what the best way to go is. Thank you guys a lot.

well you don't want 2 downsize your exhaust...thats will lower tha amt of power u have...in order to gain power, you need a larger sized exhaust which equals less restriction...so get some headers off of ebay, they cost about 150 bucks...get a high flow cat, and get tha piping done at any muffler shop...you can get the muffler from ebay as well, that stuff works fine...i am not an expert with the NAs but with all of my turbos, i have done 3" all the way through and i have seen the best results with that
hope that helps

I dunno if 3" would be a good idea for NA. Turbo, yes. NA, probably not. You need some backpressure for the sake of bottom end torque.
My personal perference - 2.5" mandrel bent piping.
So 2.5, which I think is stick...maybe....and score a muffler on ebay...and you said get some headers?? or would I not need these if i stick to the 2.5? and then what about the cat thing you were talking about?

2.5 will give u power...headers + a 2.5 will give u more power...and i believe we want more power? tha hiflow cat is used to replace ur stock catalytic converter...u can do one of two things...use a test pipe, which is a 2.5 inch piece of pipe that replaces your stock cat...or u can use a hiflow cat, which dos the job of the cat, in 2.5 form
hope i didn't loose ya

okay, do u plan on turbocharging ur supra down the road? if so.. just find a STOCK MKIII turbo exhaust and use that temprarily... im doin that with mine currently and it works great
so can you throw a turbo on a 7m-ge engine? I thought someone told me that was not possible unless you swapped out with the 7m-gte. If you can just add a turbo I might do that down the road.

Not just like that you can't. The N/A Ecu does not like boost, the higher compression + boost would be bad on that lowly torqued head gasket, There are no oil squirters to cool the pistons, and you've got one less knock sensor... to name a few issues...

Who came up with this 500px wide BS?
u also gotta deal with tha intake manifold...and tha intercooler setup...its not as plug and play as u wish...then 3 days later u'll hav a blown hg and u will hav 2 start all over...just pay for tha gte now and get it over wit
