3rd Generation Screech

Here is the problem. When i get my car warmed up after a few wide open full boost take offs my turbo starts to make a really loud screech i mean loud. Still runs fine spools great pulls hard everything just really loud. I was wondering if anyone would know what this is. Oh and the turbo has almost 180000 miles on it. And i use 20-50 oil. Any info would be great even though i already prob know what is going to have to happen. Thanks

Ok so today i was able to get the acordian hose off and have a look every thing looks good on the compressor side from what i can see no bent fins or scratches on the case. But there is a little play not much at all though. It has not made the noise all day. Does anyone know what turbos will work with the stock manifold. And prices if you got um. And what turbos would be good for daily street. Thanks

ahmedootie, Please use real words.

The stock CT26 is all that really should be used on the stock manifold, but there are a whole suite of turbos being built that will use it. On top of that, there are the CT26 upgrades. The 62-1, 60-1, 57trim,etc.

I don't complain as I just don't bother trying to figure it out...skipping the posts I cant be bothered with makes a thread go faster...
