3rd Generation Help my computer!!

I recently did a motor swap on my 1990 supra. I put a motor from an 88 so i switched the wiring harnesses over. After I got everything together and went to fire it up, it wouldn't start. So I checked for spark, compression, fuel pressure, and checked the timing. It all looked good. Then I hooked up a noid light to see if the injectors were firing. Only 3 were. i checked my wire splices and they were all fine. Then I remembered that I had a Theft-Deterrant system on it and my friend said that he had a Mazda do the same thing. He said there was a way you had to re-boot the computer or something like cycle the key five times or something. If any of you guys know the procedure will you let me know? Thanks

On a Mk3 Supra it doesn't work that way. It kills the ignition. It would turn the key and act like the battery was dead.

The ECU in the Mk3 Supras pre-dates OBDII so there are no fancy key tricks like that in them. If you're only getting spark on three of them you've got a huge problem. Why? Because they're linked in packs of two's. If only 3 are REALLY firing, you've done fuckered your coil pack somehow.

Oh yeah, you funny NA boys.

Whoops, and now I'm retarded. I can't read. I swore you said Spark Plugs.
Can't be much help, sorry. My guess is that it's not ECU though.

You can't fully. It's built into the PCM and the door locks. The closest you can get is clipping some wires and even then it'll still be there.

Make sure you're using the right injectors, they changed the impedance around '88.5 in the NA's from low imp to high imp, make sure you're using the injectors from the 1990 motor that is native to your ECU.
