So i decided to put some slotted/drilled rotors on my 87 supra turbo. the pads that i put on were the factory originals. There seems to be some constant contact between the pas and the rotos. I pulled the calipers back off and recompressed the pistion and put them back on. Same thing. the noise sounds like shit any help would be bad ass.

Put on new pads.

Rule of Thumb: When you do rotors (I hope they were new) you do pads. They're cheap insurance against damaging a new set of rotors.

Sorry i forgot to mention that the pads were new they were just the oem pads.

are you sure it's a rubbing and not vibrating? did you put in the 'anti-noise' gel that they sell?

okay, get this then... my supra does the same thing, new pads, new rotors, new shims, used the blue colored anti-noise on em and the squeek worse than before i replaced them...

as for you, did u get new shims when u replaced everything?
