3rd Generation Need another opinion

I have an mk3 supra i was driving the other day and noticed that my idle was at 1200rpm and my car was already warm so i drove to the next light and same thing so i reved my car up to about 5000rpm and the idle went back down to 500-600rpm does anyone beside me think that this is an early sign of a head gasket problem ?????????????
