I have an n/a and i am planning to make all the necessary changes.... I just wanna make sure I know what all the changes are, before I jump into such a big project. If anybody has done this before, please post! Thnx!

No, the blocks aren't the same. NA has higher compression, lacks oil squirters (even in the Mk4 IIRC), etc. You can't just swap over the hardware and it'll work.
