All Supras

Are all supras come turbo-charged? I know the laters ones like 93-98 are all turbo, right? what about the older ones? like the 80-ish ones? thanks

no they don't ,i have a 83 celica supra and it's not turbo.from 86.5 and up(not called celica supra anymore) you can have the 7m gte witch is turbo charged,but not all are.the fourth generation are all turbo charged for all i know.Correct me if i am wrong please .

No, Mk1/2's are not Turbo charged. The 7M (Mk3 Supra) was the first to have the option to be turbocharged. It was also offered in Non-turbo. The same was done with the Mk4 Supra. Plenty are non-turbo.

oh....can you guys give me a broader range, so like.....basically all supras from 1990-1998 are all turbo and 1989 and below have the options to be turboed or not, right?

Supras up to 1987 were all normally aspirated. From 87 on, turbochargers were optional in all years.

All Supra's have an I6 engine standing for inline-6. the 1993-1998 Supra's have N/A's and Turbo models. Trust me I know because I have an N/A. Also, the 1986-1992 had the option of N/A or Turbo as well. I don't know about the MKI or MKII but the 1986-1998 did have only an I6 engine the 1JZGTE or 1JZGE and the 2JZGTE or the 2JZGE
