Hey guys got a question for all you supra owners. I could not get any info on the tacoma forum. Does anyone have any experience with throttle body spacers. Do they work, are they worth the money?? Thanks in advance!!

Some swear by them as phenelic devices, but I've never seen real world numbers. Certainly never seen them used on a supra...

If your are talking about phenalic intake manifold spacers then they most definatly DO work. I have seen dyno numbers prooving that thermal insulating spacers work well especially on engines with long runner intake manifolds. Gains of around ~10 hp (at certain RPM points) on a 5S-FE camry motor that was tested last year.

Now, if your talking about a spacer that goes between the trottle body and the intake mani, I dont think those do anything but give you room for water injection.

For info on a Tacoma TBS go here and run a SEARCH. It is an off road club. They have some of the best Tacoma tech info out there. Remember run a SEARCH before asking questions.
