engine idle problem

hey guys,

my friend recently transfer ownship of her 89 supra(na) and she told me that the car doesn't idle. i kinda fixed the problem, but i'm guessing it's the intake manifold that's leaking. the car starts, but it dies once i let go of the throttle. i don't know jack about supras but i was thinking if i could use the intake manifold of the 7m-gte to replace the faulty one i have now. on top of that, are the parts from the 7m-gte interchangable to the 7m-ge? and where's the best place to look for one(junkyards maybe?) any help from sf bay area is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Some parts are interchangable, the intake paths are slightly different though.

It could be the Dash-pot and maybe the ISC Valve.

Nope. No one that I know of makes another intake manifold to replace the factory one. Just heat wrapped, or front-facing manifolds. Best bet is to just get another factory manifold from a "U Pull It"
