MKV Supra Threads/New Supra Threads

Ok, given the number of people that keep asking the same question, or posting the same links to the same crap photoshops or other pictures of Toyota test vehicles the authors claim to be the next Supra, we get a sticky.

There are plenty of threads still here on this topic. In fact, I haven't seen a new set of these "spy shots" in years. Same 5-10 over and over again. Unless your source is Toyota, or journalists from the likes of Car&Driver, or Road&Track, there is no new Supra, so really there is little need for a new thread. Please feel free to search the ones we have archived here for what is likely to be the thread you planned to post.

OK, as I said in the initial post, there would be no mention again until something new came along from the likes of R&T or C&D...


...something new has. This month's R&T has an artists concept I've seen before, but the claim there is 2008, and Toyota is not denying it. No other hard facts at this time. I'll scan and post the article here, but it is basically the same as the rumours...hardtop and drop top, v6 power with perhaps optional v8 inside a couple of years. Price expected to be lower than a 350Z and performance is to be better than it on all fronts. Sounds just like the supra always had been...wait for nissan to release something new in the Fairlady series, then Toyota would proceed to bring a new car to market that would promptly beat it into submission.
