Rim swap fitment 92 to 93+ wheels

Hey,
Will the 17"X8" and (rear) 17X9.5 5 lug rims from the 93 and up Supras fit onto my 92 Supra? Both are 5 lug patterns and I am wondering if anyone knows if they are the same, and if the larger & nicer 17" rims will fit onto my car. I know I have seen 18" rims on a 1990 Supra before but I am most concerned about the bolt pattern.

Peace,

> 65k and running strong

Jonathan

Yes they fit perfectly. You could get other larger rims too. Any size that fits a 93+ will fit with a few exceptions as you approach the extremes, and by extreme, I mean upward of 9+ inch fronts or 10+ inch rears. These would require very specific offsets, and every rim fits a little differently, so it can be trial and error.

That is a really nice set up mkIV turbo rims.....but how common are these things? Those ones are a grand by the time you ship them. Freshly chromed, and in perfect shape I could afford them and wait till next summer and make them summer tires, but I still have to fix the rear bumper my girlfriend smacked into !! ....I am just wondering how common and how overpriced a flawless set like those are.
