I had a 00 Tacoma 3.4 V6 which ran strong. Put the s/c on it at 46,000 miles and ran strong to 61,800. It's totaled but still runs nice. Also have a 06 Sequoia, 4.7 V8 with 15,300 miles which runs like a top, smooth and quiet. My 07 Taco 4.0 V6 runs good but it's a noisy engine which really surprises me, it being a Toyota. Finally, my dad's 04 Camry 3.0 V6 is the smoothest and most quietest engine I've ever experienced. You can't even tell it's running.
