How do I flush the automatic transmission fluid?

What is the best way to go? I was told drain it out of trans, put in a new filter, and fill with new. This will get most out but not all, in the torque converter. Then I was told to go 50,000, drain and change again, then 25,000 drain and change again. I was told at this point most of the old will be out. I know every time I do this there is always going to be old fluid in the mix, I'm just diluting it.

Is this a sufficient method? The '99 5S-FE powered camry has 98K on it right now.
