I'm in the camp of don't race, and not worried about impressing anyone with how much I spent. I just want a wheel that I really like the looks of and don't want to spend a fortune. I also like Joe's comment about not feeling as bad if he should curb a cheaper wheel. Same reason I wear cheaper sunglasses. So, sounds like I can just look for a wheel that I like that fits well and not worry so much about "quality".
