Diesel would have to be more powerful than that (assuming this is an HD Tundra) to be competitive. There were some early rumours a long time ago Toyota and Hino were together developing a diesel for an HD Tundra and the rumoured specs were 390HP and 700 lb-ft. We will see soon enough what the real specs will be.

Nice to hear though some official Toyota word that a Tundra diesel is coming.
