Questions about compatability and stuff

I have a 1995 Toyota Corolla with high milage (300,000 kicks) and is completly barebone stock - no OEM features at all. I just added an OEM clock to the dash (That should give a hint...), and I'm thinking of adding power steering to it.

I have a wrecked (Stupid black ice!) '92 4WD Corolla (drivetrain would make a good go-cart...) that I have found the occasional piece fit on the '95 - It has power steering, as well as a tilting steering column. Now, before I break the wrenches out and rip the rack and pinion out of it, WILL IT FIT? I don't want to rip both cars apart only to find "the parts don't work!"

I'll take the pump out tomorrow, and try to bolt it on.

Also, at the local wreaking lot, there is an almost gutted '94 Prizm with the remains of the air-conditioning system in it. I think everything is there, but do you think it's worth it to try and install it? Does it require a extra electronics?

Thanks!

Chris
